This document describes how Alma handles your information, how subscriptions and payments work, and the terms that apply when you use the app.

Alma is a personal wellness and self-reflection app designed to help you check in with your daily rhythm through balance score, sleep, hydration, mood, movement, breathing, insights, and history features. By using Alma, you agree to the practices described below.

Important: Alma is an informational wellness app. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
Safety notice: Breathing exercises, hydration guidance, sleep logging, mood check-ins, and balance score insights are provided for general wellness purposes only. You are responsible for using Alma in a way that is appropriate for your condition, limitations, and physician guidance. If you have any health condition, breathing difficulty, cardiovascular issue, mental health concern, dizziness, pregnancy-related concern, or other relevant medical condition, consult a qualified professional before relying on guidance inside the app.

Interpretation and Definitions

Definitions

For the purposes of this document:

Application refers to Alma.

Company refers to Alma.

Country refers to: Romania.

Device means any device that can access the Application, such as an iPhone or iPad.

Health Data means wellness and activity information that Alma may access through Apple Health, such as steps or sleep data, if you grant permission.

Personal Data means information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

Service refers to the Application.

Usage Data refers to data collected automatically from use of the Service or related technical systems.

You means the individual using the Service.

What Alma Collects and Stores

How Alma Uses Your Data

Storage, Sync, and iCloud

Alma stores core app data locally on your device. If iCloud-related features are enabled, Alma may also use Apple services such as CloudKit or iCloud key-value storage to sync selected app data and settings across devices associated with your Apple account.

We do not operate a custom backend for Alma user wellness history at this time unless explicitly stated otherwise inside the app.

Health, Wellness, and Safety Disclaimers

Balance Score

The balance score is a simplified wellness signal based on available app data, logged activity, selected goals, and available Health information. It is informational only and should not be treated as a diagnosis, risk score, or medical evaluation.

Hydration

Hydration guidance in Alma is general and informational. It does not account for medical conditions, medications, climate, exercise load, pregnancy, age, kidney issues, heart conditions, or individualized fluid restrictions. Always follow your doctor's advice or other qualified medical guidance where applicable.

Breathing Exercises

Breathing exercises in Alma are intended for general wellness, calm, focus, and relaxation. They are not therapy, treatment, or a medical intervention. If any exercise causes discomfort, dizziness, panic, pain, or shortness of breath, stop immediately. You are responsible for using breathing exercises in a manner appropriate to your health condition.

Sleep and Mood

Sleep logs, mood check-ins, and related insights are self-management tools only. They are not designed to diagnose sleep disorders, mental health conditions, or other medical concerns.

Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments

Alma may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, including introductory offers or free trials when eligible.

How Long Data Is Retained

Alma may keep your locally stored and synced app data for as long as it is needed to provide the app experience, unless you remove the app, clear the data, or revoke related permissions. Some subscription and purchase records are maintained by Apple according to Apple's systems and policies.

Alma is not directed to children under 9. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 9. If you believe a child has provided personal data through Alma, contact us and we will review the issue.

We may update this document from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Alma after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.

Terms of Use

By using Alma, you agree to use the app lawfully and responsibly. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with the app's operation, or attempt to bypass subscriptions, purchase logic, or access controls.

Alma is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We make no guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose, health condition, or personal need.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app. You remain responsible for your own health, safety, hydration decisions, breathing practice, activity choices, and any reliance on app-generated information.
