The short version

1Who we are

Cyphre: Brain Puzzle Rings (“Cyphre”, the “game”) is a puzzle game for iPhone and iPad, made and published by PAUL CRP - App Development Studio (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the game uses, who else receives it, and the choices you have.

2What stays on your device

So that you can continue where you left off, the game keeps the following only in its own storage on your iPhone or iPad. It is not sent to us:

You can erase all of it at any time with Settings › “Reset all progress” in the game, or by deleting the game. Apple may include the game’s storage in the device backups you have switched on.

3Advertising and the data it uses

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner on the level list, a full-screen ad now and then between levels, and short videos that you can choose to watch to earn hints or to continue a level. To deliver, limit, measure and protect those ads, the Google Mobile Ads software inside the game collects the data below and sends it to Google and its advertising partners. We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you.

4Your choices

Tracking permission

iOS asks whether the game may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, ads are still shown, but the advertising identifier is not used to personalize them. You can change this at any time in the Settings app under Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Consent in Europe

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another region where it is required, the game first shows a consent message from Google. You can accept, decline, or manage each purpose and partner separately. You can reopen that message whenever you like in the game under Settings › “Privacy & ad choices” (shown where it applies). If you decline, you may still see ads, but they are not personalized.

Other controls

5Purchases

The game offers Premium (a one-time purchase that removes the ads and unlocks every theme) and packs of hints. All payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card details or your Apple Account; the game only checks with Apple, on your device, whether a purchase succeeded, so it can unlock what you bought.

6Game Center and Apple

If you are signed in to Apple’s Game Center, the game sends your scores (levels completed, stars, perfect levels and daily streak) and your achievement progress to Apple, so they can appear on the leaderboards and in your profile under your Game Center name. This is optional: the game works without Game Center, and you can sign out in the Settings app.

If you chose to share analytics with app developers in the Settings app, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics and crash reports. Apple processes all of this under the Apple Privacy Policy.

7What the game does not do

8Children

Cyphre is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. In some countries a higher age applies for agreeing to the use of personal data (for example 16 in parts of Europe); there, please ask a parent or guardian to decide about the consent message. Parents can switch off tracking requests and in-app purchases with Screen Time in the Settings app. If you believe a child has given personal information through the game, write to us and we will help.

9Legal bases and your rights

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, the data described above is processed on these grounds:

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, to restrict or object to its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we keep no personal data about you on any server, most requests are best made with the tools above or directly to Google and Apple, but you can always write to us and we will help.

United States residents: we do not sell your personal information. Ad personalization by Google can count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws. You can opt out with the choices in section 4.

10Keeping, transferring and protecting data

Data on your device stays there until you reset your progress or delete the game. Google and Apple keep the data they receive for the periods set out in their own policies, and may process it in countries other than your own, including the United States, using safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or approved data protection frameworks.

Your game data sits in the game’s protected storage and is covered by the security features of iOS. No method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

11Hints, stars and progress

Hints, stars, themes and anything else you earn or buy in the game are for play only. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We may rebalance levels, rewards and prices in later versions. Because progress is stored only on your device, we cannot recover it if the game is deleted or the device is lost.

12Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the game or the law changes. The new version will be published on this page with a new date, and applies from then on.

By installing or playing Cyphre you confirm that you have read this policy. Use of the game is also covered by Apple’s standard license agreement.
