The short version

1Who we are

Pop Pop Aliens (the “game”) is made and published by PAUL CRP - App Development Studio (“we”, “us”). For the limited data described below, we are the controller together with the service providers named in this policy.

2What stays on your device

The game keeps the following only in its own storage on your iPhone or iPad. It is not sent to us:

If you delete the game, this information is deleted with it. Progress cannot be brought back afterwards. Premium can be restored with “Restore purchase”. Apple may include the game’s storage in the device backups you have switched on.

3Advertising and the data it uses

The game shows two kinds of ads through Google AdMob: a full-screen ad now and then after a finished game, and a short video that you can choose to watch to carry on after losing. To deliver, limit, measure and protect those ads, the Google Mobile Ads software inside the game collects the data below and sends it to Google and its advertising partners. We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you.

4Your choices

Tracking permission

Before any ad is requested, iOS asks whether the game may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, the advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not based on tracking. You can change this at any time in the Settings app under Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Consent in Europe

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game first shows a consent message from Google. You can consent, refuse, or manage each purpose and partner separately. You can reopen that message whenever you like in the game under Settings › “Privacy options”. If you refuse, you may still see ads, but they are not personalised.

Other controls

5Purchases

The game offers one purchase: Premium, bought once, which removes the ads, lets you carry on after losing without watching a video, and unlocks the Ghost skin. All payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card details or your Apple Account; the game only learns from Apple whether a purchase succeeded, so it can unlock what you bought.

6Game Center

If you are signed in to Apple’s Game Center, the game sends your scores and achievement progress to Apple so they can appear on the leaderboards and in your profile. This is optional: the game works without Game Center, and you can sign out in the Settings app. Apple processes that information under the Apple Privacy Policy.

7What the game does not do

8Children

Pop Pop Aliens is a family game for a general audience. It is not directed specifically at children under 13 (or the higher age set by the law of your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Parents can switch off tracking requests and in-app purchases for a child’s device with Screen Time in the Settings app. If you believe a child has given personal data through the game, write to us and we will help.

9Legal bases and your rights

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, the data described above is processed on these grounds:

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we keep no personal data about you on any server, most requests are best made with the tools above or directly to Google and Apple, but you can always write to us and we will help.

United States residents: sharing an advertising identifier for personalised ads can count as “sharing” or “selling” under some state laws. You can opt out by refusing the tracking permission described in section 4.

10Keeping, transferring and protecting data

Data on your device stays there until you delete the game. Google and Apple keep the data they receive for the periods set out in their own policies, and may process it in countries other than your own, including the United States, using the safeguards those policies describe.

The game uses the protections built into iOS and Apple’s and Google’s official software. No method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

11Stars, skins and progress

Stars, skins, scores and anything else you earn in the game are for play only. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We may rebalance levels and rewards in later versions. Because progress is stored only on your device, we cannot recover it if the game is deleted or the device is lost.

12Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. If a change is important, the game or its App Store page will say so.
